Exclusive: Nancy Mace dismisses account complaints as “bitter exes”

Exclusive: Representative Nancy Mace, Rs.C., is firing the accusations that employees led to create accounts called “burners” to increase their online image, telling Fox News Digital News the statements of “exes bitter” and have no real proof.

“When a story is based on” former anonymous employees, “is the journalist for” we had nothing real, so we called the bitter exes, “said Mace, responding to a Recent item Posted by Wired Magazine.

The article cited former assistants and consultants, including a deposition by the political consultant Wesley Donhue, to allege macely burners and even automated boats to amplify their political messaging.

But Mace, who presides over the Cybersecurity, Information Technology and Government Innovation Sub -Committee, does not buy it.

“Unlike some people, I don’t need a burning phone to tell the truth,” he said. “I say what I mean, I mean what I say and public from my real account, with my name.

At a time when the anonymous sources dominate the headlines, Mace tilts to their reputation to say the quiet part aloud.

“I will continue to tell the uncomfortable truth,” he added. “And if you are upset, well. That means you are finally attentive.”

Mace has built its brand in the struggle for survivors of sexual aggression, including its own and defending policies that protect women and parental rights. He has assumed public legislation to preserve title IX protections for biological women and expand access to resources for survivors of violence.

Earlier this month, he called a transgender activist accused of threatening to “murder”, saying: “You don’t have to agree with me, but threatening a mother and a violent congressman is not protest, she is a criminal.”

In the interview, Mace pointed out his real experience in technology, a rarity in Congress, as an important asset in the development of significant policies.

“Well, to begin with, I really understand the complexities of technology, which already puts me ahead of most Washington,” said Mace, referring to his background as a self-taught computer encoder. “We are writing a policy focused on protecting your data, breaking into cyber threats and promoting the censorship of great technology.”

His practical experience, he said, helps to detect both software defects and political spin.

“It turns out that the writing of the code teaches you how to detect errors in software and in political BS,” said Mace.

When asked how he maintains his office online work in conservative principles such as accountability and leadership, Mace did not lose a pace.

“I direct with facts, I speak of the people who sent me here and not hidden behind consultants or in leakage,” he said. “Being responsible means saying difficult things, standing and not getting out of a fight, even if the media sticks their pearls.”

As for the online viral video showing what it seemed to be a stack of burning phones, Mace laughed at the show.

“About as many burning phones as Wired they have credible sources for” Gate-Gate, “he said.

He even had fun in social media claims with an image generated by a cheek on his cheek that had two Bernesa mountain dogs outside the Capitol, emphasized it: “That’s right. I have several Berners!”

Mace made it clear that he sees this controversy as more smoke than the fire, which believes that it does not distract it not that of the legislation and represent its district.
